You and everyone playing will write a single page from what would be a novel or short story.
It can be the first page, the last page, or any page in between.
If you need to ease into this whole writing thing, your page can be the "back flap" which has the synopsis.
Thinking about plot and character is a good place to start.
Creativity requires constraints, so the story you write will contain certain attributes.
Each attribute needs to be included in some way into what's written, though they needn't be associated with the main character or the same character.
If you're playing with someone else, try following the same constraints.
It's fun to see the variations people come up with.
Use the randomly generated story attributes listed above.
Being truly random, you might get a combination that initially seems impossible.
If you have to, you can get a new set by pressing the "refresh" button, but don't give up too quickly!
The "hard" ones turn out to be some of the most interesting and creative stories.
